  1. Edmund says:

A real scam! Supposedly TV Guide also. Addressed me by my first name. Wanted to confirm that my issues were being received on time, etc. When I said \"You don\'t really represent TV Guide, do you\" he said he represents the company that does the billing. When I asked how he got my phone number and said that TV Guide doesn\'t have my phone number, he said that my phone number was on file with the credit card.  He wanted to confirm my Visa card number \"which begins with the number 4...\" (I would guess that all Visa account numbers begin with a 4... duh)

  2. Brady says:

Got a call from them, I could not hear what they were saying, and they hung up on me.

  3. Phillip says:

They call and hang up on you when you tell them you don\'t owe a damn thing

  4. Sonny says:

Also the 206 area code is for Washington state. I don\'t know how they got my info. I heard a lot of people saying something about an online resume. I have had my resume online for 2 years now. I have notice a lot of junk e-mails and phone calls since then. Just saying!

  5. Duane says:

I received a call from a heavily accented young man who identified himself as \"James\".  He claimed that he was calling from some windows tech support office and that he could see that my windows OS was in trouble.  So I asked him lots of questions, including how I could contact him.  He dictated a website address with Microsoft in the name and gave me the telephone number at the top of this thread.  The number he was actually calling from was an untraceable 000 000-0000.  So I chatted with him, and once he realized that I wasn\'t going to cooperate with him, he accused me of trying to keep him on the line while I attempted to trace his call.  Then he tried to shock me by talking \'dirty\' the way a 13 year old would, and that went on for quite a long time.  It ended when he figured out that I was largely ignoring him but keeping him busy while I cleaned my desk.   I should have hung up, but I felt like killing time.
